Unesco World Heritage

I have been to

San Cristóbal de la Laguna, in the Canary Islands, has two nuclei; the original, unplanned Uper Town  and the Lower Town. Its wide streets and open spaces have a number of fine churches and public and private buildings dating from the 16th to the 18th century.  It is cultural site.
It was declared a World Heritage Site in 1999.






I haven't been to

Maya Site of Copan, discovered in 1570 by Diego García de Palacio, the ruins of Copán, one of the most important sites of the Mayan civilization, were not excavated until the 19th century. The ruined citadel and imposing public squares reveal the tree main stages of development before the city was abandoned in the early 10th century. It is cultural site. It was declared a World Heritage Site in 1980.
